Whining. What is whining?
Whining is defined as "To complain or protest in a childish fashion."
On the forums, you see a lot of this, from the "Get Rid of LFR" threads to the "Nerf XX Class" threads. They all seem to have one thing in common: a majority of them are no where close to constructive and, instead, come out sounding like a 6 year old wrote the post.
I'm fine with a post that is well written- as is everyone else on the forums. What I don't like to read is drivel such as:
"It's too hard to get gear in LFR for my alts so LFR needs to go away and 5 mans need to come back."
"I know there are other ways to get gear, but I can afk my way to gear in LFR, but LFR still doesn't drop the loot I need every time I run it."
Yes, I have seen this kind of post by one particular person on the forums. The funny part- this whine comes from a heroic raider (not completely done with heroic mode at that).
Then there's this gem from someone who just downed NORMAL Lei Shen but has ran LFR a total of 17 times each (meaning all the bosses in tier 14 and the current one):
"Honestly I don't think I deserved epic quality loot from faceroll mode of LFR. Its unfair to folks who put 110% effort in normal and heroic.
If I understand correctly LFR was put in place for non-raiders, folks who can't devote lot of time doing serious raiding to experience content. LFR was never designed to offer epic quality loot. "
What the hell kind of drivel is this? Just because you- yourself don't need LFR anymore suddenly means no one else needs it? This same person was also singing praises to the person complaining about gearing their alts up through LFR.
So, why are these posts not being deleted? A majority of them are just made to incite an argument- they serve no purpose but that..
The horse died many years ago. I think it's time for Blizzard to stop letting folks keep putting up dead horse topics.
