Guys, we really need to talk here.
1. Nasty posts
I know we are all sick of seeing a certain subject keep popping up (yes, even I'm getting tired of it), but there is absolutely no reason to be rude. No one is forcing you to open that post.
Personally, I'm getting rather tired of the nasty behavior I've seen from all sides of the subject. If you can't post like a mature person- don't be posting.
"Oh shut up": Just down right rude. Period. Would you appreciate it if you made a post complaining about something and YOU were told to shut up?
"You need to just quit the game": You are doing nothing to help Bliz keep customers.
"You're wrong." But you fail to tell them why you think they are wrong.
"QQ moar": Grow up. If you're an adult using this term, it's making you look like a jackass (pardon the language).
"MMO's aren't for you": WRONG. MMO's are for everyone. Games like WoW try to cater to all types of players.
I get it, you don't like their opinion, but you know what? They are allowed to have one.
It's called being respectful. If I recall, even Bliz has that rule in the forums code of conduct somewhere.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
2. If the subject is already on the front page, you don't need to make another thread on it.
I admit, I'm guilty of doing this. I do at least try and wait until it's died down a bit. However, I'll generally try and post in an already open thread before making a new one.
There's no reason to have 20 billion threads on the same subject- especially if those other threads are not capped out.
------------------------------------------------------------------
3. TL;DR (Too lazy didn't read)
Why are you on the forums again? If you can't be bothered to read, don't expect an abridged verion.
Now I do understand TL;DR when the post is literally long and one paragraph. Heck, that stuff annoys me. But when a person takes the time to actually format something in a readable form, don't expect them to make a TL;DR.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Stephen King mode
Yes, we all know I tend to go into King mode and ramble at times.
If you are used to the way I write, I usually try and get the point across in my first sentence of each paragraph. Does it always work out that way? No (I do try though).
Something I've noticed over the years, when people write, they try to put what they are talking about in the first sentence of a new paragraph.
It's basically something I learned way back in school (back in the stone ages).
---------------------------------------------------------------
5. Respect others opinions, even if you don't agree.
This goes back to number 1 on the list.
If you can't respect my opinion, don't expect me to respect yours. Arguing with me is fine. As long as you are respectful about it. Keep it on topic, don't sit there and armory bash when the convo has nothing to do with the armory.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry for the length guys and girls, but this stuff has just been bugging me for the last few months.
